INL - MFC ESPC

Arco, idaho
completed 2012

General Contractor: NORESCO
Engineer: DC Engineering
Description: Idaho National Laboratory's Material & Fuels Complex (MFC) participated in a massive government effort to reduce energy consumption nationwide. Energy Saving Performance Contracts (ESPC's) were funded by the energy savings the projects generated. At MFC, Lea Electric was part of a design-build team with YMC mechanical that performed site-wide upgrades to lighting and HVAC systems in nearly every area of the site. A new 6 MW boiler system was installed along with major electrical upgrades to support high efficiency HVAC units. Lighting upgrades were installed throughout the project along with energy saving control systems.

Radioanalytical Chemistry Lab (RACL)

Lea also performed electrical installation for the new Radioanalytical Chemistry Lab (RACL), at INL's Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) facility with Stock Construction. The new $4M research lab systems were highly sophisticated and electrically extensive making this installation a perfect fit for Lea's experienced and capable team.

Total Project Cost: $N/A
