Description: In 2009 Sorrento Lactalis began detailed engineering and design of a new whey drying tower at its Nampa facility. This project also included a remodeled milk microfiltration plant and the addition of a new product line encompassing approximately 50,000 square feet.
The scope of work performed included power distribution, automation and controls for numerous high capacity pumps and motors for process operations. Production, storage, and office lighting upgrades, additions and controls were added. General power distribution, fire alarm, and telecommunications cabling & infrastructure upgrades were completed.
