Description: Lea Electric LLC was the contractor selected to install electrical, secuirty, fire alarm and data systems in the newly constructed air traffic control tower and air traffic control facilities at the Boise Airport. At 290 feet, the tower is Idaho's tallest structure. An 11,000 sf TRACON (Terminal Radar Control) facility is located at the tower's base for administration & monitoring. The 550 square foot "crow's nest" atop the tower seats 5-8 air traffic controllers. The facility also remotely manages TRACON operations for Bozeman, MT.
